Point Cloud Registration
Point cloud registration includes the alignment of data from multiple scans of the same area, as well as absolute geographic coordinate correction using ground control points. Registration of point clouds from multiple stations in the same area can be achieved through manual coarse registration, ICP (Iterative Closest Point) registration, manual selection of corresponding point pairs, or target ball registration.
