Parallel Copy
Function Description
The parallel copy function supports users in copying and moving linear vector objects in parallel.
Note: After entering the parallel copy operation, the left mouse button no longer responds to the rotation of the point cloud view when copying vector objects. If you need to rotate the point cloud view, you must press the
V
key on the keyboard and the left mouse button together to make it effective.
Click the Parallel Copy button in the Vector Editor. The functional settings interface will be docked on the right side of the software, as shown in the figure below:

After entering the function, the default mode is the drag mode for parallel copy. Move the mouse to the vector and click and hold the left mouse button, then drag the mouse to copy the selected vector to the current mouse position.

If you check the setting options in the docked settings interface, you will enter the configuration mode for parallel copy. Here, you can set the distance between the copied vector and the original vector, the number of copies, and the copy position. During the configuration process, a red preview will appear. Click the "Copy" button to achieve vector copying.

To switch to the move copy mode, click "Move Copy" in the settings interface. The default mode is the drag mode for move copy. Move the mouse to the vector and click and hold the left mouse button, then drag the mouse to copy the selected vector to the current mouse position.

If you check the setting options in the docked settings interface, you will enter the configuration mode for move copy. Here, you can set the distance between the copied vector and the original vector, the number of copies, and the copy position. During the configuration process, a preview will appear. Click the "Copy" button to achieve vector copying.
