Move

Function description: The Move feature allows users to move a vector object to a new location.

Note:

1.This function supports the selection and movement of obscured vectors.

2.Upon entering the move operation, left-clicking to move vector objects no longer simultaneously responds to rotating the point cloud view. If you need to rotate the point cloud view, you need to simultaneously press and hold the V key on the keyboard while left-clicking with the mouse for the rotation to take effect.

Steps

1.Click the MoveOpenPointCloud button in the Vector Editor, then select the area where the vector to be moved is located.

ReversE the sequence of points Shift+R For line vector objects, change the direction of the line
Invert Selection Ctrl+Shift+R For unselected vector objects, it becomes selected; for selected vector objects, it switches to unselected status.
Rotate Point Clound V/v + drag the left mouse button While moving vectors, you can use V/v + drag the left mouse button to move the point cloud.

2.After selection, the selected vector will be highlighted, and the detailed information of all the vectors selected will be displayed on the right side of the main window, including the vector layer and ID.

3.Click on the detailed information of a vector on the right side, the highlight of other vectors will be cleared, and the clicked vector will be highlighted.

4.Click on the highlighted vector in the 3D window and hold down the left mouse button, drag the vector to the new position to be moved, and after lifting the left mouse button, the vector will be moved to the new position.

5.After the selection is completed, the selected vector will be highlighted. Right-click to pop up the drop-down box 'Move to', and click to pop up the dialog box.

  • Absolute: Set the coordinates of X, Y, and Z for absolute pinpoint movement.
  • Relative: Define the coordinates of X, Y, and Z for relative pinpoint movement.
  • Direction/Distance: Set the direction angle, pitch angle, and distance to move.

6.Shortcut Shift+R: For line vector objects, change the direction of the line;

Note: After a vector object is selected, the selected vector will be highlighted, but the detailed information of all selected vectors, including the vector layer and ID, will not be displayed on the right side of the main window.
