United States Forest Service (USFS) manages over 150 national forests throughout the United States. Protection of these are vital. Understanding these environments through LiDAR data is quickly becoming industry-standard and as such, USFS is looking to utilize LiDAR360 to actively characterize the canopy structure and study its relation to carbon and water cycles.

We are always honored to work with agencies and research institutions whom seek to provide a better understanding and analysis of our forests. Fittingly, GVI’s Terrain and ALS/TLS Forestry modules provide foresters with an efficient toolset for the generation of their desired geospatial outputs.
